Over this past year and a half, I have seen a dramatic uptick in clients purchasing new vehicles. Even now, when you barely see any cars in the dealer's lots, I still get a call around once a week. However, one troublesome thing is that dealers are telling my client's incorrect insurance advice. For example, I have heard from quite a few of my clients saying the dealer told them that you have 30 days to call your agent to add your new vehicle. This is incorrect. You have only 7 days to contact your agent to add the vehicle to your policy. This coverage is built into your policy because research shows that cars are purchased most on weekends and evenings when agencies are closed.
I hope that you all found this helpful and interesting. If you would like any topics covered in the future, please let me know, and I would be more than happy to oblige.
Thanks All,
